Trustees for the time,
effort and dedication put into
securing our future.  I also want to thank all of you who attended the special meeting, and all of you who voted (regardless of how you cast your ballot).  The key to our survival is the continued
interest and participation of our members.

 

On a different note, I would like to give my warmest
congratulations to Bill and Jamie Hsu on the birth of their son.  Tildon is a happy, strapping 7 pounds, 11 ounces.  We wish the family all the best.

The vote is in and the
membership has spoken.  The College Club of Seattle will see its 100
th birthday!  By a margin of 64% to 36%, you voted against further merger negotiations with the Rainier Club.  I have
communicated this to the head of their task force and thanked them for their time, interest and effort in
partnering with us.

 

The Board of Trustees will now focus its efforts and energy on transitioning to an interim location and
pursuing efforts to find a permanent Club facility.  We will continue discussions with Lexas Companies
regarding their condo-minium development in the South Lake Union area.  We will also continue to explore our property options for a 1031 investment.

 

The College Club of Seattle has an exciting future ahead of it.  I would like to
